Description:

Updated to 1.37. Includes new vanilla trade node connections that CCP added in 1.35

Overview

Each mod in the Improved Trade Routes family works to improve the trade flowing into a specific area without drastically impacting the overall trade flow in the game.

Improved Trade Routes – Malacca
Improved Trade Routes – Gujarat
Improved Trade Routes – Beijing
Improved Trade Routes – Siam
Improved Trade Routes – Cormandel
Improved Trade Routes – Lhasa

Mod Details

Improved Trade Routes – Malacca aims to make the Malacca trade node even better while still allowing African and European powers to pull trade beyond Malacca. Major changes are allowing more of American trade to reach Malacca, reversing some of the India<>Malacca trade routes, and flowing Beijing southward.

  • Xian -> Hangzhou (reversed from vanilla)
  • Beijing -> Hangzhou (reversed from vanilla)
  • ganges_delta -> Malacca (reversed from vanilla)
  • gujarat -> comorin_cape (reversed from vanilla)
  • comorin_cape -> Malacca (Added)
  • Yumen -> Lahore (Added)
  • Mississippi -> Mexico (Added)

Notes:
  1. Make sure to only have one mod from this mod family active at a time
  2. Uses only Vanilla trade nodes
  3. No new end trade nodes
  4. Each mod has a different set of trade node ingoing/outgoing edits
  5. There is a small net increase in the number of node linkages. It’s unlikely to have an impact on game performance
  6. Trade lines and arrows for the new connections on the map are not yet completely optimized (but should not be horrible)
  7. Updated for 1.37, but should work for any version after 1.30 (I think)
  8. Will likely be incompatible with any mods that change the map or trade nodes

Work in Progress, feel free to leave comments on the steam mod page. Eventually I should have 6-10 mods in this family, each focusing on a different area.
