Knox Plague ReTexture
This is a re-texture to the zombies in zomboid making them look like the image
I used the Rabies re-texture as a template and modified it greatly
I recommend you check their re-texture as well
I also suggest you use the ”Remove zombie hair ”mod
The Knox Plague
a horrific fungal infection that has ravaged the planet ever since it broke the quarantine in Kentucky
it warps those infected with it
forcing them to rip their own jaw off in early infection, and causing intense rage and confusion.
along with this it causes extreme photo-sensitivity in an attempt to drive the host into a dark area, so the fungus can grow (I suggest the mod "Fear the sun" for this). The pain is so bad the infected claw at their own eyes in an attempt to tear them out.
(eventually I may make an animation for that)
You may wonder why the fungus needs the infected to tear off their own jaw, this is so that the fungus bulbs can have the proper amount of room to grow in the throat, and even the chest as the wound gets bigger.
these bulbs have a striking resemblance to human teeth, giving the victims of the infection an unnatural look.
The spores they produce from their bulbs are highly contagious and as the mycelium stretch through your veins you will attack anything you see
biting to inject the spores directly into the bloodstream.
This parasitic fungus was not found anywhere else but Knox county leading to speculation on if the plauge was man-made. However nothing could be done as the fungus quickly broke quarantine and spread across the globe
bringing about the end of days.
