This map inspired by the streets of Barcelona refers to a series of clashes that occurred within the Republican side between May 3 and 8, 1937 in the city of Barcelona, ​​in the context of the Spanish civil war.

In these events, anarchist and Marxist groups clashed, on the one hand, and the Government of the Republic, the Generalitat of Catalonia and some political groups (in particular, socialists and communists), on the other hand. It was the climax of the confrontation between pre-war republican legality and the Spanish Revolution of 1936, which had been in constant friction since July 18, 1936.
