[WOTC] Fallout 3 Chinese Stealth Suit
During the first invasion, there were rumors of a Chinese black project in the works using captured cloaking technology from the Aliens, particularly their "Seeker" units.
The objective was to apply this tech to a specialized suit of armor that would cloak the user when worn, but nothing seemed to have come from it; the war came and left without any signs of this project coming to fruition.
That is, until we conducted a raid on an ADVENT armory and found these working prototypes locked away in a special container, presumably taken right from the chinese R&D facilities they were developed at after the war ended.
Seems they never saw proper field deployment, as they look to be in mint condition after all these years. Their embedded cloaking fields still work, too. Our recon teams will be happy to have these.
One-piece torso, P/S tintable, XCOM head compliant, dual gender Chinese Stealth Suit.
The lore paragraph above isn’t just flavor text, as i really did include a variant of the suit using the EU Seeker’s cloaked material. Doesn’t make you actually hidden/concealed, of course, it’s purely cosmetic – just thought it fit given the suit’s origin, and it looks cool.
The cloaked set also includes the helmet by default, as if they were separate objects, the material would flicker like crazy if looking at the body through the helmet or vice-versa.
Primary Armor Tint controls the padding on the body. Secondary Armor Tint controls the bits of tape across the body, the red bits on the helmet and hands, and the visor on the helmet.
The brightness on the visor depends on the brightness of the color you pick, and with XCOM’s default Secondary Armor palette, most of them are very, very bright. This is why Project Dollhouse/One Million Colours/Some other color palette expander is recommended, so you have actual good control over your colors.
- Chinese Stealth Suit (M/F – 2 Helmets – 2 Torsos)
- Invisible Body Parts For All – REQUIRED for the invisible arms and legs, as this comes as a one-piece torso part. Also useful for hiding the heads of the wearers if using the cloaked variant.
- Project Dollhouse – Greater color control. You can also use One Million Colours if PDH isn’t an option.
- N/A.
- Bethesda Game Studios – Creators of Fallout 3 and every asset used in this pack.
