My subjects know my reign has brought great prestige and much had been gained; from Aquitaine to proof of English military superiority. I have relinquished my claim to the Crown of France in exchange for peace. The French did not uphold their promise of peace and in not doing so, they have proven that I should not have held true to the terms of the Peace of Bretigny. With the French attempt to seize Aquitaine I now have reason to do what must be done…
The Hundred Years’ War has been put on a halt, for the dynastic civil war in Castile presents an opportunity for France or England to create a sizeable ally in the region for their needs. Bohemia rules the Holy Roman Empire and in the Balkans and Near East a time of turbulence is seeing a shift in the balance of power away from forces such as Serbia and the Golden Horde into the hands of ambitious conquerors. Timur just began his reign in Chagatai, the Delhian Empire is in the process of collapsing and the Yuan is fighting an uphill battle in the Red Turban Rebellions which have since coalesced under the Hongwu Emperor.
-Start date of 1368, with technology from the middle ages to the near future
-New map to reflect the start date
-Mission trees so far for Ming, Yuan, France, Burgundy and England
-Several new ages (Feudalism and Great Wars to name a few)
-New governments for the industrial and modern eras, as well as events to pair them with
