Description:

This mod replaces the vanilla event "A Political Marriage" with a more common event (because that’s more fun, and it rarely happens in multiplayer games). It can now happen with opposite gender rulers of any age with neighboring countries of 75+ opinion who have a royal marriage. The AI will accept it 90% of the time, and it will announce the event to everyone similar to the Iberian Wedding event. If the initiator chooses not to take the union, they will summon a random 3/3/3+ leader.

9/21/24 Update: Was still too rare for my liking, made it even more common while toning down leader stats, as well as added a reciprocating 3/3/3+ leader choice for the receiving nation. Also fixed two bugs, one where the weighting for the acceptance event was wrong, leading to the AI to almost always deny the unions and the other where certain conditions could lead the event to endlessly loop.

Future updates might include:
Localization changes to make the context of the event more interesting.
Development/province number checks. At the moment a one province minor can take a 100 province nation and the AI is none the wiser. These unions usually break themselves, but in the case of a small nation taking a larger one with its own PUs, it can break the power balance heavily.
There are also bugs with electoral monarchies getting the event but never accepting them. I would like to make them eligible to accept the events as well, but that may end up not being possible.
