C-110 Mistral

DESCRIPTIONThe C-110 "Mistral" is the primary tactical airlifter in use with the Usean Air Force and Marines. Tactical Airlift Command uses the Mistrals to fly into and out of unprepared airstrips usually under fire. C-110s have proven themselves to be useful assets for extractions of downed pilots well behind enemy lines, outside the range of helicopters.
The Mistral is powered by two Walsh turbo-compound radials mounted in twin tail booms. This layout allowed the cargo bay to be almost the length and extremely wide allowing for a a wide variety of palatalized cargo to be carried.
