Merrick’s Vytautas (Lithuania)
Adds Vytautas, Grand Duke of Lithuania, as an alternate leader for my Lithuania mod.
A national hero and celebrated figure, Vytautas led Lithuania against the invading Teutonic Order vying for control over Samogitia. He backed economic reforms and development of the state, centralising his government by replacing local princes with loyal landowners to form a new basis for Lithuanian nobility.
Žemaitija ir Aukštaitija
- +5 Combat Strength for all units against enemies who follow the same Religion as you and receive double rewards from pillaging tiles adjacent to friendly territory.
- Cities outside 9 tiles of the Capital receive a +10% boost to all yields and +6 Loyalty per turn.
- Has access to the Leitis unique unit with Feudalism.
Leitis (Man-At-Arms)
Unique Lithuanian Melee Unit when Vytautas is their leader.
- Higher Production cost (160 vs. 140) and higher Combat Strength (50 vs. 45).
- Has 1 Build Charge. Can construct resource improvements*, roads, and the Pilis.
*Farms, Pastures, Plantations, Mines, Quarries, Camps
One Country
- Likes his neighbours when they follow the same religion as him, but dislikes when his neighbors of the same religion are at war with others neighbors.
