[1.18] Buy County Conversion
Adds two options to the county view to force faith/culture conversion for a fee.
Want to speed up your kingdom’s conversion? Is your steward or chaplain too slow?
You can now force the conversion of a county for a fee (gold + prestige for culture, gold + prestige + piety for faith).
- Force a county (and its owner) to convert to your faith.
- Force a county (and its owner) to convert to your culture.
Fully translated into English and French.
75% of the texts are original translations, which means that for other languages, the mod is almost translated, but functional.
Is the county leader not of the right faith/culture? Don’t worry, they’ll convert too (but it will cost you a little more).
This allows you to force the conversion of your vassals, helping you maintain the cohesion of your kingdom.
The conversion cost depends on whether or not the holder needs to convert, and if so, the cost increases based on the holder’s title (forcing the conversion of a king will cost much more than a mayor).
The cost is high for someone with only a few duchies; this mod is intended to help in a situation with multiple kingdoms/empires under your domain.
Faith conversion:
Base cost : 350 prestige, 250 piety, 0 golds
Holder’s conversion cost:
- Baron: 50 golds + 50 piety
- Count: 100 golds + 100 piety
- Duchy: 200 golds + 150 piety
- King: 300 golds + 250 piety
Culture conversion:
Base cost : 350 prestige, 100 golds
Holder’s conversion cost:
- Baron: 50 golds + 50 prestige
- Count: 100 golds + 100 prestige
- Duchy: 200 golds + 150 prestige
- King: 300 golds + 250 prestige
Having an empire, I realized that stewards were too slow to get the job done. Other existing mods allow for global conversion of the entire kingdom. I wanted a more realistic solution that allowed for one-by-one conversions, at a cost, and it turned out during the modding process that allowing vassal conversion was very useful.
Compatible with any other mod that doesn’t modify the county view.
