(GuardWatch) Fort Douaumont

Welcome to Guardwatch (Should’ve called it Guardian Ops tbh), a defense style kind of mode i made, all using the trigger system, so there’s that lol. This is a mode where you defend against waves of enemies, and get abilities when you progress through the waves. What you’re defending is essentially a flag and is essential to defend as it is the only thing you must prevent the enemy from taking, followed by a counterattack when all that’s done, or exfil, depends on the map.
This map is basically another map I made, except it’s based around this particular mode. I have been working on this all day and it was a huge pain in the ass to do, going as far as my PC to shut down completely and turn back on and therefore, lose a lot of progress and time. This is more of a test thing to see what works so there’s that.
So anyway, here’s the rundown:
Abilities: Reinforcements, 1m Cooldown (L)
Waves: 5
Difficulty: Easy – Normal (Depends on how often you spam the ability)
Common Issues:
– Enemy units hiding make it seem like the game is soft-locked, but it really isn’t. Press F10 to see the units, probably has to do with the map itself I suppose.
– If you are using Universal Camera Shake (which is what BloodXHaver’s configuration that I recommended contains), disable it, as I believe it is the cause of the issues with the camera.
The required config and it’s contents (The French vs. German 1916 config specifically, since I did use it for this mission specifically) MUST be downloaded from BloodXHaver, as it’s the one I playtested (which you can find in the required items list).
