Dungeoneer Quirks
This mod changes how enemy type and dungeon quirks are acquired. Instead of getting them randomly on mission finish, you will now gain those quirks by fighting and slaying enemies or interacting with traps and obstacles.
Additionally a few quirks are changed to be a bit more interesting and interactive.
- Very small chance to gain a Hater quirk when hitting an enemy.
- Very small chance to gain a Slayer quirk when killing an enemy.
- Small chance to gain dungeon-related quirks when disarming traps or clearing obstacles.
- Small chance to receive negative dungeon quirks when triggering traps or clearing obstacles by hand.
- Scrounger quirks now grant -10% Torch Burn Rate, -25% Starve HP DMG and -20% Stress instead of 5% Scouting Chance.
- Explorer, Tactician and Adventurer quirks now grant temporary buffs after disarming traps or shoveling obstacles.
– Explorer quirks grant following temporary buffs; -5% Party Suprise Chance and +3% Scouting chance for 2 Battles.
– Tactician quirks now grant 5% CRIT instead of 15% DMG in the respective dungeon. They grant following temporary buffs; +8% DMG, +3% Monster Suprise Chance for 2 Battles.
– Adventurer quirks now grant 20% Trap Resistance instead of -20% Stress. They grant following temporary buffs; +4 DODGE, +2 SPD for 2 Battles. - Added a new negative quirk focused on inflicting debuffs when triggering traps and missing a shovel to clear obstacles.
– New quirk type: Estray. Triggering Traps and clearing Obstacles by hand inflicts following debuffs; +5% Party Suprised Chance and -3% Scouting Chance for 2 Battles.
I’m open to feedback and suggestions regarding the quirks! I tried to make them rather balanced though.
Please put this mod on the higher end of your load order. I tested it with modded campaigns and it is compatible with most mods except big overhauls that affect base game quirks, props or monsters.
Most new dungeons, classes, monsters and boss reworks should be fine. I might create compatibility patches for certain mods in the future.
