Unification wars of 1866 is going to be about a mod where the Victorian Era and the struggles for German and Italian for Unification of these two areas take place on the grand campaign map. You get to see weapons and uniforms used during that time and use tactics that work for you to shape Europe how you want to.

Planned factions?
I was going for the idea originally to divided Germany into several minor warring states however without the knowledge on how to make faction confederate as a game option. There will be the North German confederation as a faction lead by Prussia of course and there will be a South German confederation which will be lead by Bavaria and not the Austrian Empire as it was historically because at the same time the Austro-Prussian war was going on. The Austrian Empire was at war with the Italian state of Savoy-Piedmont who was attempting to unite Italy.
England,Denmark ,France,Switzerland Spain,and Portugal,Netherlands,Belgium will be added of course of course.
England will have a forgotten enemy just an island away. Such as the Irish Feinian revolt. The Feinian revolt or "Risising" happened in Canada and not in Ireland it self however it was to pressure the British Empire to withdraw troops from Ireland. Spain’s Civil War will start much earlier(because it happens in 1873) in mod between Monarchists forces and Republician forces just so you have something to do in Spain aside from Conquering Portugal or undermining the French Empire to your north.
This mod will probably be more focused on Breech-loaders rather than cap lock muskets so the mod in question will not be accurate all of the way and that’s largely because it would be difficult to balance game wise and pay someone for animations.
Start date to end date?
The year 1866 to 1900. it was going to be 1914 but planes,tanks,machine guns,and would be again hard to find someone to help with that. paid or not.
