As of version 1.6, this mod is compatible with Repentance+, and no longer requires REPENTOGON.[repentogon.com]

This mod removes the timing challenge from using self-damage slots while under timed invincibility (Book of Shadows, Chariot Card, etc).

If your invincibility runs out while you are touching any vanilla machine/beggar you have enabled in the config (defaults are Blood Donation Machines, Devil Beggars, Shell Games, Hell Games, and Confessionals), you will be locked out of using them until you step back and wait for a moment (default is 30 frames, but this can be changed). You can also deploy a fresh source of invincibility to bypass the waiting period. By default, a buzzer sound will play when you attempt to use a machine while locked out, but this can be lowered or muted.

This mod is fully compatible with both the original Time Machine and my remake, Time Machine PLUS. If enabled in the config, it will even reset a player to normal speed when they get locked out (sadly, this does not work with Time Machine [FIXED], as it uses too many local variables for external code to alter its behavior. The damage prevention still works normally.). It also works with co-op / J+E, giving every character their own cooldown timers.

My future plans for this mod are to add support for modded machines/beggars.
