Description:
Story

Medieval England 1567, you live with your wife, Abigail and your little son Bennet in an agricultural town called Winddale, in the province of Bourbourg. You, your wife and most of the community works on the fields to make sure Winddale produces enough harvest to last the upcoming winter. The wheat is used to bake bread, the cotton is made into cloth and crop residue is giving to the sheep, which also gives the town a stable supply of wool. With all this raw material it’s no surprise that almost all textile in Bourbourg is made in Winddale.

But all this welfare attracts raiders. That’s why Winddale and all of the other towns in Bourbourg have struck a deal with the castellan, Godfrey The Resilient, which states that Winddale will give up part of its resources to the Citadel in exchange for protection in case of a raid.

Recently, the neighbouring town of Genevis has become increasingly hostile towards Winddale. Being a town that primarily produces wheat as well, they’ve been keeping track on how many knights the castellan is sending out to Winddale and comparing them with the amount they got.

Last year, your town’s best tailor was invited to the citadel on request of the castellan to make his wife the most beautiful dress she’s ever seen. He made a magnificent white silk dress with silk that came all the way from China. Godfrey was speechless and as a sign of gratitude he ordered his men to send out an additional 20 knights to Winddale, even relocating a couple from Genevis. Winddale rejoiced, but the folks from Genevis were fuming.

Three months ago, a massive raid happened in the entirity of Bourbourg. Winddale was barely hit due to the large knight presence. Genevis, however, was left in pieces. 24 villagers were brutally murdered alongside most of the knights and livestock. The remaining townfolk couldn’t bare the site of the flourishing village of Winddale, whilst standing next to the corpses of their relatives. They had enough! They were going to get justice!

So a couple of days later, some of the villagers clandestinely came to Winddale at night and trew one of their dead pigs in the town well. The whole town, including your family, got enormously sick, vomit and feces everywhere, many died. And after two weeks of suffering, your son too succumbs to the horrible effects of dysentery. You and your wife were left in tears.

15th of august 1568, present day. Your town still hasn’t recovered since the incident. Due to the reduced workforce, production dropped and there was nothing left to give to the castellan. Seeing no resources enter the citadel, he decided to call back every knight he send out the winddale and relocated most of them to Genevis, which is now the sole wheat exporter in Bourbourg.

You and Abigail can’t cope anymore with the loss of Bennet and the betrayal of your fellow village. You decided that they all needed to suffer for the things they’ve done to your community. So you, Abigail, and your brother, Henry, are going to barge into Genevis and make sure the pigs will have enough rotten meat to chew on once you’re done…
