This is a patch for Mechanica’s Forgotten Buildings, realized using resources from Stilldoll’s More Building. All credits goes to them, I only fixed and merged stuff allowing the best of both worlds.

This mod adds a new research, requiring FB’s Ultimate Defensive Walls. Once the research is complete, a new array of wall parts will become available. I labeled them all under the "Accessible" name, so you can tell which is which even if the textures and models look the same. The diamond tip of this mod is the t5 tower and everything else was built around it to make it possible. The tower takes the nodes and collision from MB’s t5 tower, allowing for climbing to multiple floors, even from ground level, and also comes in with nodes to build five turrets and two lights, while having the mesh and texture from FB’s tower.

The new tower is larger than the FB one, large enough to allow the collision to work properly, after testing i realized the scale at which the collision was shrinked made for a corridor too low for characters to enter and they would get stuck. For this reason, all the new wwall parts are now larger, and they cannot be upgraded from the regular t5 walls to avoid clipping issues.

The new walls also require additional research, I know it’s a pain having to research again but the new tower is too overpowered compared to the FB one to let build from the get-go. Lastly i grouped all regular towers from the mod into a single building category, that part was bugging me.

That’s pretty much it, engoy and let me know if there are any issues, note that if built too steep the tower stops working correctly and seems to not allow climbing anymore, so keep that in mind and build your towers straight.

– Just a reupload, I didn’t change anything manually but the code must have adjusted since it’s working perfectly on my end, the turrets too, but still you NEED to build your towers straight, hold the – key until it stops correcting, no matter how messy the terrain, otherwise the stairs inside can become too steep and be percieved as a wall rather than path, also regenerate your navmesh each time, it’s ctrl+shift+F11 for the ones who don’t know. Let me know if this fixed anything.
