Balanced Skill Point Gain Mod for SFO (LORDS AND HEROES)
COMPATIBLE WITH THE SILENCE & THE FURY.
– 14-Jul-2021: Updated for The Silence & The Fury DLC. Lowered skill points for heroes on level 2 from 3 to 2.

– 30-Jun-2020: Added one extra skill point to all hero types on level 40 for parity with lords, since heroes were given many new skills in the latest version of SFO.
– 13-May-2020: Restored the 1 extra skill point to mage, dignitary, and Runesmith character types at levels 20, 30, and 40, as those hero types have been given more options in their skill trees in SFO recently.
– 20-Sep-2019: Small update to keep mod in line with upcoming changes to SFO (1 extra skill point to max level.)
Added 1 extra skill point to lords on level 2 to simulate being given a point on level 1, and 1 extra skill point to level 40.

Note, this mod is balanced for use with the SFO: Grimhammer mod, as SFO adds more skills to choose from to most character skill trees, but does not require SFO to use. If you use this without SFO you will have extra leftover skill points by level 40 on many hero types.

Simple skill point mod that changes the amount of points lords and heroes gain when leveling up.
This mod is balanced towards providing a boost for lower level characters in order to help them become useful more quickly, and is intended to scale all the way until the end of a campaign, giving enough skill points in order for high level lords and heroes to be powerful, but not as overpowered as they would be with 2x skill points on every level-up.
The pattern is as follows:
Lords:
Levels 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35: 3 skill points
Levels 3, 4: 2 skill points
Level 40: 4 skill points
Total: 60 skill points
Heroes:
Levels 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20, 30: 2 skill points
Level 40: 3 skill points
Total: 48 skill points.
Vanilla skill points by level 40: 39 skill points.
