The South-pointing Chariot replaces the Chariot Archer for Qin. This unit begins with the Scouting I promotion, boosting its Visibility. It can be upgraded further with the Scouting II and III promotions as it earns XP in combat, allowing it to double as a Scout. Use these units to stake out future rivers to settle or enemy cities to conquer.Unique Building: Fortified Levee
Like the Castle that it replaces, the Fortified Levee increases a city’s Defensive Strength. However, it also provides a free Aqueduct, boosting the amount of Food a city can store after growth. This amount is further increased by the Defensive Strength provided by Buildings in this city. Finally, the Fortified Levee comes much earlier than the Castle, at Engineering, but may only be constructed in a city built adjacent to a River or Lake.
