Instant Mount
With the automounts system, lower-tier mounts are now unlocked automatically when you reach the level that the skill would normally unlock at. For example, if you had a skill to unlock a Warhorse mount at rank 6, then once your lord or hero reaches rank 6 that mount will be automatically gained without needing to spend a skill point.
However, you might be worried about having certain mounts auto-equipped onto your lords and heroes. Automatically gaining a Warhorse mount could screw you over if it happens just before an all-spear army attacks! Automounts solves this problem too. You can now unequip a mount on the same turn you unlock it.
Automounts does not affect all mounts. Higher level mounts, like Dragons and Griffons will still require skill points to unlock. Same goes for unique mounts for legendary lords. Additionally, every lord and hero has at least one mount they need to spend a skill point on, always their highest tier mount. That means if your lord or hero only has one mount available in their skill tree, you will need to spend a point on it.
