Electro Motive Division GT26CW-2 pack

The Electro-Motive Division GT26CW-2 is a diesel-electric locomotive built by EMD for Yugoslavian Railways in 1972.
There were just 14 of them made for Yugoslavia, while similar examples went all over the world. All of the units went to Croatian Railways-Hrvatske zeljeznice HZ after the seperation.
Designated as the series 663 in the Yugoslav Railways(6 for diesel power, 6 for number of axles and 3 for the being the third type in this category), these locomotives were later known as the series 2063 in the Croatian Railways after 1991
As they are the most powerfull locos in Croatia, the 2 operating examples left are mostly used on freight trains between the port of Split and Zagreb/Ogulin.
In 1986 they had a electric heating unit added for use of pulling fast trains. They were nicknamed Velika Karavela by the workers.
