Prometheus
Prometheus is a Core 7 exploration CV that uses antimatter thrust & maximum Plasma Turbines to minimize fuel need. While hovering in outer space with everything still turned on, there is over 3.5kw of excess power available. Prometheus has a full steel hull and spawns at ~3.8kt. Prometheus can handle some higher gravity environments, but is not intended to be “high G safe”. Keep an eye on your weight before entering planets.
Prometheus uses the top tier technology of Reforged Eden 2, including:
– Antimatter Large Thrusters
– Long Range Radar Array
– Quantum Matter Transreceiver
– Advanced Plasma Turbines
– Repair Platform – Capable of Repairing CV’s
– Enhanced Teleporter
I have used the Large Thrusters in an attempt to control fuel costs as an experiment to see how viable this type of ship is in RE2. I may make changes in the future based on performance.

– 2 Advanced Constructors, 1 Universal Constructor, & 1 Deconstructor
– Full Medical, Armor/Weapon Lockers, Oxygen Stations, & Showers
– Hangar for a couple ships & large landing pad for SV’s or small CV’s
– Negative idle power – can run decon or advanced constructor for free!
– 9 Minigun Turrets & 9 Sentry Guns
