This all started because darkly’s version has the whip disabled and I wanted to use it. There is a post from 2022 that said another version would be released with the whip re-enabled but it seems the mod is dead.

Changes:

Re-enabled FBI whip melee, slightly increased animation speed
To change FBI whip back to knife you have to edit the actors_data.xml

"What a horrible night to have a curse…" Added stun and fire aoe (Morningstar) to the whip attacks because the vanilla whip will not hit multiple targets or low targets which was problematic for crawler zombies. Why do crawler zombies matter outside of zombie mode? Yeah about that…

Added Fast Aimed Shot to the Automag V – originally was going to tweak the recoil because its A LOT but decided to make a separate gun for that in case people want this mostly vanilla version

Added FEDTEK Experimental Virulent Hand-cannon (F.E.V.H.) to Agent Fergie – Upgraded version of the Automag V with the same damage and more manageable recoil – she’s supposed to be the strong pistol character right?. Poison dart alt fire will turn enemies into zombies and stun other enemies nearby.

Marksman Pistol – Want to feel like you have the aiming precision of John Wick? – Removed Recon’s Marksman Rifle Ultimate and turned it into an internally silenced revolver that can SHOOT FROM LADDERS AND COVER AND SOMETIMES EVEN A DIFFERENT FLOOR? Just like a real fantasy marksman?
It’s currently found in both Recon and Fergie’s gear screens. The Ultimate is removed from Recon as the weapons unique aim behavior (and ultimates in general) are hardcoded into the game.
>>Known Issues (Hardcoded, can’t fix or workaround)-
>When using the switch targets alt your character will look like they are shooting. Can’t fix this.
>The aiming will always pick the target furthest out in your LOS first. Can’t do anything about it. You will have to get used to using the switch aim feature
>After switching aim and firing one shot the aim will reset to the furthest enemy. Can’t do anything about it. The gun has a high base damage (not enough to kill in one shot) and crit chance but does more damage the longer you are aimed at an enemy. Try pacing your shots and waiting for the reticle to tighten a little before shooting that charging machete dude.
>It shoots at an angle even when you should be recoil free. Sort of unsafe to use near hostages or barrels unless you’re locked on to an enemy or shooting from close.

Cursed Revolver with it’s original vomit alt fire has been added to Off Duty Guy because comedy and he has so few weapons. The HUD shows a revolver but he still holds it like a rifle. Might change it to a rifle sprite in the future.

"How come the Cursed Revolver only turns things into zombies sometimes, is it based on percent chance?"
-No. I thought this at first but the zombie infection is determined by the custom explosion which only triggers on bullet death. The Cursed Revolvers piercing property makes bullet death determined by number of enemies hit and distance traveled. No way around that that I know of other than removing the piercing effect which wouldn’t matter on ODG since he gets piercing through perks.

Why are most of the changes for Fergie? I have fun playing her but shes kinda weak and I like pistols, plus there were already animations done for the whip. Her Ultimates are kind of boring and I have fun playing her as a "supply drop" type of character so instead of adding the sniper (best) ultimate to her I decided to tune up her basic firepower.

Things I might do:
Play other classes to think of fun things to add to them although I really don’t know what I can add to them that they don’t already have. I think Assaulter is the only one who doesn’t get a comedic over the top weapon but I don’t have any ideas
