Elf Destiny – Beauty Trait Enhanced

This mod slices off a piece of the main Elf Destiny mod and makes it available as stand alone functionality so that you may use it with incompatible mods!

This sub mod is all about expanding the Beauty line of traits!

Characters whose appearance doesn’t adhere to traditional or mainstream standards of attractiveness. They have qualities or features that might not be considered typical, but are still striking, appealing, or captivating in their own unique way.

Characters who take this to a further extreme suggesting an otherworldly, alluring appeal that draws attention, often evoking a sense of mystery, fascination, or awe.

These traits are slight upgrades to their corresponding base game beauty traits but are still weaker than the base game trait tier higher than them. To say it another way, "Unconventionally Pretty (Tier 2)" may be slightly better than "Pretty (Tier 2)" however base game "Beautiful (Tier 3)" is still much better than both.

These traits are acquired at birth. When a child is born with a base game Beauty trait, there is a

• 1 in 100 chance that Beauty trait is upgraded to Unconventional.
• 1 in 1000 chance that Beauty trait is upgraded to Exotic.

Odds are better to upgrade from Unconventional to Exotic and both alternative versions can be passed on to offspring genetically.

Thats right, this essentially adds Shiny Pokemon to CK3. There is a game rule that allows you to increase/decrease the odds of these traits appearing.

Characters can now reinforce their tier 3 Beauty Trait to Tier 4 (Adonic/Aphroditic)!

These traits will appear on newly born characters whose dynasty have the Strong Blood dynasty modifier acquired from taking the Strengthen Bloodline Decision.

NOTE: In the base Elf Destiny mod this is instead locked behind a new tradition.

If you play as a ruler with a Beauty trait, you may run into a shady merchant who offers to sell you an extraordinary artifact. The Nefertiti’s Armband belonged to an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh and can help characters upgrade their Beauty type. As with all things, this power comes with a cost and there are risks to anyone who might use it too greedily.

NOTE: In the base Elf Destiny mod this artifact is instead found on an Expedition.
