Description:

I know what you thinking and yes this was inspired from the Helldivers ship.

This was also featured in August designers challenge.

Here are some notes on this ships intended purpose:

This ships main focus is on the Legacy Faction as a shielded ship it is not indestructible, it is designed to take hits on the nose and uses a decoy system, once you lose your Cannon Turret it’s time to bail.

Decimator/Infector class ships while posing a threat can be dispatched with this vessel.
(with a little knowledge and piloting).

Eradicator/Devastator class are taken by your own risk, more upgrades should be to be acquired before you should attempt.

Please fly safely. Results may vary.

The ships comes equipped with standard turret and weapon lay out

10 Medium Laser Turrets
4 Triple Plasma Cannons(Heavy)
6 Sentry Turrets
1 Long Range Radar

Additionally we have

2. 320k Ammo bins
1. 120k Ammo
1. 640k Container controller
1. 320k Ore Container.
Also and assortment of Cargo boxes to sort your goods in.

Are there decoys in this ship? Yes, Small gens a turret and a few thrusters.
Will the enemy shoot them? If they feel like it.
Will they target your warp? Yes, that’s why it is armored and dead center of the ship.
Should I let the ships take damage when the shields are down? You can but I do not suggest much, this ship was built to take a few hits but not many.
Are there better ships out there to take one Legacy. Absolutely.

My suggestion would be to take on infectors first before you can upgrade the weapon systems.

Modulated turrets are my recommendation Micorwave or UV, Gamma and X-ray are also nice.
