Harthgate’s Kill Haesteinn Event Pack
Hello fellow Crusader Kings, my name is Edgar Harthgate. Today I have a small event pack featuring one of the game’s most infamous characters, Haesteinn of Montaigue.
Features:
– Event: a new event that will result in the death of Haesteinn within a year of the initial start date.
– Game Rule: a simple game rule that turns the killing of Haesteinn on or off. Enabled by Default, to disable this feature change your Game Rules before starting a New Game.
Details:
Haesteinn of Montaigue is a disruptive force in the region that often leads to imbalances in the region, particularly in England. Where, in my experience, Haesteinn will conquer Mercia and later Wessex.
With this event pack Haesteinn will be killed at a random date within a year of the initial start date by one of his historical rivals; King Charles the Bald of France, Count Eudes of Anjou, or an agent acting on their behalf. They will even get a Murder Secret if their are the responsible party.
Don’t worry if you are playing as Haesteinn and forget you have this Event Pack installed, the death event checks for that automatically and won’t occur if true. However, you can also turn the death event off in your Game Rules before starting a new game.
Notes:
– This Event Pack does not directly change Haesteinn in any way, other than his newly scripted death.
– Currently only English Localization is available, please feel free to contribute a translation into your preferred language so that it can be included.
