The unique Atabeg is the Great Seljuq replacement for the Great General. This unit serves best when stationed in a city, especially one that you have conquered. It speeds up the rate at which cities recover from damage, are Razed, and halves time at which cities are in Resistance. In addition, the generation of Great Scientist Points contributes to the generation of new Atabegs. Ensuring a well-educated population will ensure a steady stream of Atabegs with which to manage your conquests.Unique Building: Nezamiyeh
The Nezamiyeh is the unique Great Seljuq replacement for the University. This building is available slightly earlier than the University, unlocking at Theology instead of at Education. When both of its Scientist Specialist Slots are being worked, the Nezamiyeh increases the city’s Great People generation rate by 10%. Keep these slots filled in order to turn your Nezamiyeh into centres of even greater learning.
