Description:

Ever thought that there is no man behind those ruler stats? Wanted your ruler influence on your country more, than just feeding it with admdiplomil points? Or maybe you even want to see traits from CK2 ?

Well, check out my mod! It is save-compatible and works for AI either. It has 103 new country modifiers and over 50 new ruler traits!

Current version adds these features :

  • Choose from 4 different education types for your ruler.

    – Each education type has notable influence on your kingdom politics.
    – Ruler skills change according to the type of education.
    – AI countries also choose education for their ruler, the choice is made by its ruler stats.

  • Every ingame country gets different modifiers based on its ruler skills: negative for 0,1,2 skills and positive for 4,5,6. Each level – different modifier.

    – Monarchic and republican modifiers differ: kingdom’s strenght bases on army, stability and taxes, while republics prosper from trade and rely on mercenary army.

Modifiers differ for Feudal, Despotic and Administrative monarchy types, check F.A.Q. for more info!

    – Your advisors’ corresponding skill can be checked for ruler’s skill country modifiers. Now II and III lvl advisors are even more valuable.

  • Over 90 ruler traits, gained either at birth and through life.

    – AI rulers are also able to get all of these traits.

    – Every monarch can attain one or two inborn trait. Currently, there are 24 inborn traits, both bad and good ones. Some of them even change your ruler’s stats.

-Also, there are about 80 traits that your ruler can acquire during his life. It is valid for any government type.
Chance of gaining these traits depends on your ruler’s stats, national ideas of your country, technology type, external relations, country situation and many else. Examples of these traits: Zealous, Just, Sadist, Scholar, Hunter.

  • Your ruler can choose specialization if he has any of his skill equal 6 (e.g. for DIP = 6 you can choose between Naval, Trade, Colony and Dip Tech bonuses)

(!)FAQ and Q&A(!)

What Randomizer does:
In the beginning of the game you can choose from 4 options:
1) Do nothing
2) Get a completely random ruler and heir.
3) Give every monarchy in the game (including you) option 2
4) Option 3 + every country will have their religion randomly changed, chosen from the list of all religions. Except Austria, to keep HRE maintained.

Also, some news:

Updated to 1.17

Changes in this version:
Many bugfixes (like dissapeared global unrest modifiers, double modifiers etc)
Added mod support for Maghrebi and Mamluck Iqta government.
(expensive, but really strong cavalry, intolerance for heathens and heretics, problems with autonomy and stabilty.
Berbers rely on trade, privateering and strong galleys, while Mamlucks also have all techs discount based on dip level of sultan ( Egypt being the center of trade between three continents should give that benefit)
Also, try to wage a war against Cas, Por, Ara or Tur, you will see another addition to Maghrebi =)

Added optional boost for Muscovy, description ingame.

For people who want to play on pre-Common Sense version of the game (afaik, 1.11.4)
