BR Mk2A Coaches
The Mark 2 family of railway carriages are British Rail’s second design. They were built by BR workshops between 1964 and 1975 and were of steel construction. The Mark 2 has a semi-integral construction, giving it more strength than a Mark 1 in the event of an accident. The Mark 2A adopted some features from the XP64 experimental set. It only had air-brakes, so they had to run in dedicated sets.
Included liveries: BR Blue & Gray, Intercity, Regional Railways, Network SouthEast.
