Deva
The Deva is my redesign of the Shiva AX20 (by MoMo), specifically tailored for operation in Reforged Eden. The Deva stands on its own merits with new block work, texturing, and lighting. Notably, the cockpit visibility has been increased, cabin space expanded, and increased accessibility & upgradability of ship components.
- Cargo to 40k across 4 containers (up from 28k across 8 containers)
- CPU to 60k (up from 34k), and space for additional Aux Core & QE Upgrades
- Shields from Standard to Heavy, and space for additional Shield Capacitors & Rechargers (HP from 1225 to nearly 4k).
- Power from 11 Small Generators to 4 Advanced Generators, providing more efficient power production.
- Thrusters in rear (from 6 Boosters, to 2 efficient Jet Thrusters). Additionally, reverse thrust has nearly doubled, enhancing maneuverability.
- Turret slot doubled to 10, cannon slots to 14, and fixed occlusion issues which prevented all weapons from firing foward.
Weapons
The nose of the vessel has 10 slots for cannons. The blocks covering it are meant to be removed. The wings each have 2 cannon slots with ramps covering them; remove the ramps and insert your artillery of choice. Be sure to add the signals "CannonsOn" to new Cannons, and "TurretsOn" to new turrets.
If you want to do mining, the Deva is equipped with a Harvest controller, but be mindful not to mount your laser drills on the wings; they must be on the nose due to reach.
Power
There are 4 additional power generator slots accessible via the access ramp behind the pilot’s seat.
Shields
A full shield, and weapon loadout for this vessel will require approximately 10 Quantum Extenders & 3 Aux Cores, of which there are slots open in the maintenance section.
Warp
The Jump Drive can be repaired/upgraded via the access shutter on the forward roof of the vessel.
