GCSY SpearHead – RE2 CV
The GCSY-SpearHead is an early to midgame Core 7 CV. Not really an avant-garde look, but really, really functionnal
Although currently unarmed, the ship has 15 turret slots and a slot for a larger turret, of the artillery type. It has enough room (lcd marked) to install up to 4 Basic Shield Boosters and 4 Improved Shield Boosters, which allow its shield to increase up to nearly 80 000, even more if needed, at the cost of charging delay.
The ship also has enough space to set up 4 Basic Plasma Turbines and 4 Improved Plasma Turbines, allowing your crops to survive at minimal energy cost (around 500W) if you disable useless energy consumption, thrusters, some weapons, etc.
The ship comes with retractable Multi-Turret located at bow, and 4 slots for light space weapons, laser, canon or even laser drills if the multi-turret dosen’t fit your needs.
A long range-radar is disposed on the stern, which offers enough room to upgrade it to a Radar Array.
At spawn time, the ship offers about 110 000 cpu points to permit you chose your attack and defence options. Equipped with two Superior CPU (not provided), this amount grows to 370 000 available CPU points
Equipped with 8 Improved Large Generators, power supply shouldn’t be a problem.
As you should expect, you’ll find any needed commodities, full medical unit, 3 oxygen stations, toilet, shower, and bed, Weapons and Armor Locker to improve your stuff.
The hangar bay is wide enough to host a medium size HV, as the Thanatos Attack Vessel, for instance, and a dock is availble on the upper front part of the ship to host a not too big SV.
At he bow, shielded behind two layers of Combat Steel, there’s a room to hold a decoy Turret and Small Generator, to focus enemy fire on the strongest part of the ship, its nose. The room is isolated from the rest of the ship by two more layers of Combat steel, keeping your ship airtight even after a front beach
The ship doesn’t offer a third person bridge, but one could be easily installed in the storage room, near the hangar on port side. Speaking about storage here are the details:
