Maybe it’s just me, but my old graphics card or monitor or something makes Romans look *extremely* dark. I don’t just mean tan. I am well aware that Italians can tan, thank you. (If you see no issue with my screenshot on the left, then you probably don’t have this problem and maybe it’s just my monitor.)
As a person of color myself, I am not offended by this or anything, but the bug appears makes the game very frustrating for me. I wanted to repair this issue for my own sake and decided to share my solution with others. So for anyone else whose graphics card seems to be acting up, here’s a helpful fix. It also alters Greeks slightly because I noticed the problem there too.
It seems you will need to start a new game in order for the ethnicities to be regenerated, though it may update over time as characters age and die off and new characters replace them.
Please let me know if it works with an old game in the comments below and let me know if you are experiencing the same glitch/oversight or not on your machines.
