Description:

A small mod I created whilst playing around with the game files which makes consular election annual as they were historically.

This mod also changes the election laws to fit the new election times. The Senatus consultum ultimum law adds 9 years between elections to maintain the 10 year terms intended in the base game. The Lex Antonia law is now more in line with the historical one, instead of reducing time between elections by 3 years it now removes the ability to create a dictatorship through character interaction, in return for a slight monthly reduction in Tyranny. But dictatorships can still be formed via the decisions menu as long as the conditions are met.

There is also another mod on the workshop with annual consul elections called Emendation Historia Imperatoris that I did no know about when I made this. However as it is a full historical overhaul mod I shall leave mine up for those who just want the elections, but if you want to check it out you can here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1723160766
