Herod
The Herod mod makes it possible to form Israel as either Judea or Samaria, and includes various related historical adjustments to the region.
• Israel can be formed by either Judea or Samaria
• Palestine region renamed to Judea, as the province of Judea isn’t renamed to Palestine by Rome until over a century after the game’s timeline.
• Arabia Petra renamed to Idumea
• Province borders changed
• Idumeans added
• Nabateans are now Arabic
• The Second Temple can now be re-dedicated once Judea or Samaria are no longer tributary states
• The Second Temple can now be expanded
• Minor flavour text additions (military units, character names)
