Roma Ortu
Roma Ortu, or Resurgence of Rome, is an alternative history of the world that deviated from our timeline in the year 1066. The rise and fall of different dynasties, kingdoms and empires has shaped this world to drastically differ from our own. Through the valiant efforts of the Bagrationi dynasties, Kings of Georgia, Lord protectors of the Empire and the Heirs of David, the crumbling Eastern Roman Empire was revitalised and regained most of its former lost Lands, from Rome to Alexandria, and even conquering the Persian Empire. Rising from the ashes of the Imperial Seat is the Macedonian Kingdom, slowly recovering from its territorial losses in the Balkans and Anatolia. Whilst Rome is now the seat of the Crimson Republic, an upstart trade power which supplanted the di Capua dynasty as the rulers of Rome and helped destroy the Empire of Italy. In Tunisia, the Holisika Grand Emirate has to recover from a crippling civil war that ripped the country apart and saw the Berbers return to a migratory lifestyle. In Iberia, the Kingdom of Catalogne Plus Grand vies for dominance over the peninsula, with a worrying eye on the behemoth that is France, a decentralised kingdom full of untapped power. The British Isles remain calm, as the Hwicce Dynasty has a strong, stable hold over its five Kingdoms. For 200 years, the Brunonen dynasty have been the undisputed Emperors of the Holy Roman Empire, encompassing the Carpathian basin and all German speaking lands. In Russia and the Baltics, Davidian crusader kingdoms rule with an iron fist vying for dominance of the region.
Featuring complex and interesting mission trees, several new religions to play as, unique roman mechanics, tons of added government reforms, a new world power balance and many interesting stories and dreams to either fulfil or crush.
