Description:

Paradox make great grand strategy games, but their grasp of the Greek language can be haphazard at times (I’m looking at you, CK2!). As a Greek historian with OCD, I can’t enjoy the game until I’ve tried to fix the language issues up, so that’s what I’ve done.

I’ve also made a few other tweaks here and there. For example, Paradox created an Italiot Greek culture (in addition to Siceliot) but apparently forgot to put it in the game, so I’ve done that. I also put Calabria in the correct place (the modern-day Salento peninsula) and renamed what used to be Calabria to ‘Bruttium’.

Needless to say, a lot of the decisions about what to call things and exactly how ‘realistic’ it should be are quite difficult to make. If you disagree with any of my choices or have any suggestions, please leave a (constructive) comment below!
