Description:

A vanilla based mod which makes considered changes to keep in look and feel to the original.

Using the enhanced features of the remastered engine, this mod adds in several new factions, a basic culture system, dozens of new units, re-rostered factions and new cultural buildings.

Nothing added should feel out of place visually or game-play wise.

A list of features are as below but not exhaustive:

-Unified Rome with Roman rebel spawn late game
-Libya,Illyria,Nabatea and Cimmeria added as new factions with many unique units.
-Egypt overhauled to Ptolemies with a mixed Egyptian and Greek roster
-Barbarian building trees added to increase accuracy and balance
-Parthia replaced by Atropatene as a more appropriate ‘Persian’ faction
-Map regions moved and adjusted to balance out and focus game-play
-Britons get late game cavalry units in a hypothetical ‘evolution’
-Greek factions get ‘Thureos’ units at higher tier barrack(previously with Marian reforms but changed)
-Roman top tier units are now limited to areas around Rome(Praetorian) and Major ancient cities(Urban Cohorts) to prevent spamming)
-Settlement names updated to remove any generic ‘Tribus’ settlement names
-Legion names implemented in all settlements and First cohorts can be trained at high enough barrack level
-Unique mercenary barrack for Carthage with access to historically accurate units

*Some points to note:
-Some units may require a resource, similar to Spartan hoplites
-Other units will require a culture level and/or resource( particular for Egypt whose composition changed with time )
-Some visual or unit choices may seem different but have been added with the best balance of game-play and accuracy*

**The final point is this in NOT meant to be a fully accurate Historical mod. It deliberately balances accuracy and enjoyment in keeping with the original. It removes some of the hideous inaccuracies provided it doesn’t upset fun and balance and adds in other in the same fashion**
