Yord & Sirc
Yord & Sirc; protagonists of project Denial (in development), join Rivals of Aether!
Yord & Sirc are lumos; vestiges of energy produced from memories of as deceased souls. Lumos can gain conscience from these souls in exchange of their memories, leaving them lost in purpose. Yord is a one-armed ragdoll possessed by a lumo and Sirc is a grumpy lumo stuck inside the marble in Yord’s chest.
Due to this unique circumstance, both of them go into an adventure to explore the lands of Debrys-Celau, and maybe in their way, find a new purpose for their un-lives. However, in one of their explorations, they find some sort of monolith. Upon entering contact with it, space warped around them, being transported to the Aether lands, where they use their learned skills to fight. It isn’t the best purpose, but they do what they can with what they have.
Yord and Sirc are quite fast and agile when it comes to speed, movement and attacks, they also have decent power and quite diverse recovery capabilities, perfect to pressure opponents and get into their faces. However, as Yord is a ragdoll, they are very light (x1.2), its very easy to send Yord flying through the air.
Dracula, Hikaru, Princess Shroob.
Pokemon Stadium, Boxing Ring, Mt. Dedede Arena, Miiverse.
Hikaru, TCO Smash Mario.
After leaving the ground, Yord & Sirc can jump 3 more times in the air, each subsequent jump has decreasing height.
It’s a rapid jab that hits very fast while the attack is held, finishing in an uppercut when released, excellent to rack up damage.
A front swipe with horizontal speed, this speed is acumulative, if used right after Jab 2, Yord gains a speed boost while attacking.
A simple kick that sends opponents upwards with fixed knockback, used to start air combos. Upon hitting it, you may cancel it into a jump.
An antiair upward swipe, just like Dtilt, upon hitting it, you may cancel it into a jump.
A ground slide, you may cancel it into a jump at any time. Upon hitting the sour spot, you may cancel it into an Ustrong.
You may cancel the charge with a jump, a parry or a roll.
You may cancel its endlag with a jump. If you press special again at the start of the move instead, it gains super armor, and it becomes a killmove with much improved horizontal speed, however, you enter pratfall when the move ends.
While Yord spins, you may cancel it with a jump for fakeouts/mixups or recovering, you may also press special again to immediately go downwards with the finishing hit.
While Yord is crouching and you Taunt, the Taunt 2 animation comes out, in which Yord & Sirc give you a thumbs up.
