Semi-United Achaemenid Empire – DEI Alexander campaign submod
This mod aims to keep the original feeling of the Alexander campaign having Persia split into satraps, while making it look a lot more like a unified empire.
All satraps now have the same faction colours on the campaign map as the proper Achaemenid Empire faction. I did not change faction flags, nor the colours of units in battle.
The following faction name changes:
– Lydia is now "Satrap – Lydia"
– Kappadokia is now "Satrap – Kappadokia"
– Armenia is now "Satrap – Armenia"
– Aegyptos is now "Satrap – Aegyptos"
– Arakhosia is now "Satrap – Arakhosia"
– Baktriane is now "Satrap – Baktriane"
Egypt has had it’s voice on the diplomacy screen changed from Greek to Eastern. Lydia’s will stay Greek because of the famous Achaemenid general Memnon of Rhodes (and also the Lydia faction leader has a Greek model).
Some text has changed from "Persian Empire" to "Achaemenid Empire".
Just like with every other mod/ submod for DEI, put it above the three DEI parts itself.
Might come back and update this at some point once I find out how to edit startpos because personally I don’t like Darius’ look in this mod when you compare it to, say, Cyrus’ model in the ‘Cyrus the Great’ mod. But that may just be me, which is fine.
