Description:

Add a special primary weapon – the Compound Crossbow, available from the beginning of the game.
It is a Tier 0 Boltcaster for custom classes that use the Boltcaster as their primary weapon, so they aren’t left without a primary until they unlock the actual boltcasters

If you want to use this Crossbow -add the following entry to the corresponding class entry in your XComClassData.

+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="boltcaster")
Why does we need this mod?

Bolt casters is a unique weapon provided by the alien hunter Dlc.-So if there is a class that only a bolt castor can use, he or she can put it into the battlefield with empty hand, or equip the multiple bolt casters with disrupting the game basic concept.

This mode fundamentally solves the contradiction by paying XCOM a bolt caster (crossbow) with an infinite possession.

DETAIL

Compound Crossbow is a weapon that uses a unique weapon category called "bolt casters." The weapon is available for all classes of the original game and LWP mod, including two hero classes except the Templar.
If equipped with this weapon, the following skills can be use.

Bolt Charge:"Guaranteed hit Charge an enemy with your Boltcaster’s Arrow.(Cooldown: 4) "
-Special baronet charge for crossbows. If you can overcome the shortcomings of running into enemy lines without any contrast, you can use this weapon as a substitute for some kind of assault lance.

Unlike other weapons – Compound crossbows are not upgradeable. because This weapon is no way to improve anymore, and there is no need for it.(XCOM are already armed with guns, and is equipped with weapons for close proximity.)Instead, the crossbow can be fully equipped with weapon attachments due to its simple structure.


"It is a special ranged weapon capable of launching large bolts using mechanical structures, which can cause a large penetration to the enemy causing bleeding. but limited by a slow rate of fire. This weapon is no way to improve anymore, and there is no need for it."
