Recently, the RnD wanted to give a substantial upgrade for the GI-C7 combat armor. Even though it was very effective, it was not very mechanical and advanced. An idea came up to make some kind of mechanical exoskeleton that enhanced the user’s strength and durability much greater than regular combat armor. They said that this is a good alternative to biological enhancement viruses and agents. The RnD was able to make the armor fully EMP resistant and water proof. After three months of designing and patenting, the GI-MECA-V1 Power Armor entered production. MECA standing for Mechanically-Electrically Enchanted Combat Armor. It was a resounding sucess, and it is probable that MECA-V1 will be improved upon even further.
