Copper Combat Drone
A semi-sentient combat drone able to hover using an experimental antigravity drive. They are able to receive orders from soldiers using a MagNet connection up to 100km. It is armed with an integrated submachinegun. If the drone loses connection, it is not able to receive orders. This does not mean it can’t fight though. If an event like this happens, a script in its code will give it one order: survive as long as possible. Deployable solar panels and the ability to speak makes them able to do this.
People asked: "Wait, if it is sentient, won’t it revolt/get mad at its creators?". No, if this kind of thing would be able to happen, we would not release it for military use. The thing that keeps it from attacking our fellow engineers is that it is loyal to the Copper Republic. It does not see a point in revolting against us, because it has everything what it needs: ammo, shelter, maintenance.
