Valour Overhaul

This mod aims to visuals of Valour but adding new things, also fixing most of the sounds and replacing them with new ones that fit the vanilla game. Most of the changes focus on maintaining the vanilla style, including sounds, voices, and infantry models. Also i wanted to add new squads to make them like the vanilla ones, since Valour doesn’t have too many squads, and I tried to balance them.

This is my first mod, so expect errors, bugs, and unfinished features. Since i don’t have much time to work on it all, but I will keep updating it until it’s finished, so expect slow updates as well.

• All weapon sounds have been fixed by adding new ones that includes distant weapons sounds (only japan have their own weapon sounds while other countries use mixes from vanilla countries).

• New squads for multiplayer (currently only UK, Hungary, and Japan). Only the late period is included for now; I will upload mid and early periods in next updates.

• Upscaled vehicle textures and new camos added to some vehicles.

• New voices for all Valour countries, as well different nationalities for Japan.

• New models for Japan, UK, USA, and Hungary.

• Some vehicle textures have been re-edited to make them look better, including new decals when they are damaged.

• Upscaled humanskin textures for Italy, Poland, and France.

-New squads use old squad icons. I will create new ones in future updates so you can easily identify whether they are recon or defensive squads.

-Expect unbalanced gameplay if you want to try it in PvP, as I’ve only tested it with bots.

-Almost all models don’t have a winter version, so you maybe you find it weird when playing on winter maps (I will try to add them if I can).

-I used some voices from Battlefield mod as placeholders. I will remove them in future updates once i finish editing new ones.

-And most important expect historical inaccuracies

! Vehicles that I upscaled and edited with new textures may flicker (I’m not sure why). Not all vehicles are affected but you can see it on some Hungarian vehicles.

! If you place a soldier from a nationality other than the england or japanese, they will not have tank voices since I didn’t add new tank voices for other nationalities (they were planned to only have infantry voices).

! UK may feel a bit off because they don’t have tank alerts or some lines. Most of the voices i used are from DOI, and I replaced tank lines with cover lines or airplane lines with bombing run lines, same with hungarian voices.

! You might find old textures on damaged vehicles, since i didn’t change them.
