Abandoned Gas Station
This is just a small map that I’ve thrown together over the past few weeks featuring an old gas station, and a very long interstate road.
Once part of the historic route 66, this gas station and diner was once a bustling building that offered oil changes, road maps, and food. However, when the interstate system was created, people no longer had a reason to take the small 2 lane roads of route 66. This gas station soon fell into disrepair, and was abandoned. The historic site now sits decaying on the side of the road at the mercy of vandals and the harsh winds.
