Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire III

Hi followers and fans!!
Sigmar be praised!
Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire III is here!
Screenshoots can be easily seen in WHII version https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1395552745

This is a graphical mod that changes appearence, in a more lore-friendly way, for some units. As an Empire faction fan I admit that this heraldry was the most difficult to do (and actually it does not convince me fully under some aspects). I think it is virtually impossible to find the right compromise for a faction like the empire. His story is so full of documents that it is sometimes difficult to put them together.
So I hope you will understand the big effort behind this huge mod.
With this mod I re-worked and worked from scratch a lot of textures adding tons of variants referring always to original tabletop models and painting schemas.
The results are:
– New shields decals, variants and better colour patterns for all provinces troops and special troops and characters
– Reworked some ROR units uniforms (Stir River Crossbowmen, Carroburg Greatsords, Eldred Sons etc…)
– New reworked factions banners, emblems and colours
– Fixed the uncolored beards and faction colors bug for empire state troops models (bugs introduced with the 1.7 update)
– Added Merwanor’s models and textures fixes (big thanks to Merwanor)
– Integrated a compatible version of Merwanor’s quivers mod from " Details Matter" mod (big thanks to Merwanor)
Well, this short description is not eough to describe the big big work I’ve done, so I suggest to try this mod. I’m sure you will be pleased.

A lot of you know me, and you know that when I plan lore-friendly goodies I do lore-friendly goodies …
I was a Warhammer Fantasy Battle miniatures collector and painter since I was a child and I collected a lot of miniatures of different races (Empire, Dwarves, Orcs and Goblins and High Elves).
The main guidelines I used to make heraldry and shields emblems are taken from all recent warhammer fantasy official documentations and artworks (thanks to Dave Gallagher splendid artworks).
Every textures was wisely edited keeping always in mind these documentations and, if missing, keeping always in mind lore standards.
The new heraldry shields emblems are available for all Empire Provinces:
– Averland
– Hochland
– Marienburg
– Middenland
– Nordland
– Ostermark
– Ostland
– Reikland (main empire faction)
– Stirland
– Talabecland
– Wissenland
– Golden Order (Solland heraldry)
– Huntmarshall Expedition
– Cult of Sigmar
– Rebels and Separatists
Reworked as well some RoR units uniforms/shields

This mod is a part of a big lore-friendly retextures project. Other uniforms and heraldry will be realized for other faction too and probably those graphical mod will be used for a possible new regional recruitment system… soo do not forget it! 😉
