Description:

Inspired by the legacy 2LW Project Altrius Maps. The Seventh Map in my "Inspired" Series:

THIS MAP IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED WITH AND IS BALANCED FOR THE 2ND LEERSOG WAR WEAPONS/SKINS PACK.

REPLACE AA WITH ARTILLERY MODS FOR INTENDED EXPERIENCE

With the failure of Hettic forces to hold the Ilast Valley and the subsequent collapse of the Karlitz siege, the 2nd Home Army’s front completely folds, resulting in a chaotic rout across North Leersog to the banks of the Durna River. Although unprepared for a major offensive, the Republic’s forces pursue, resulting in dozens of skirmishes and battles with Hettic rearguard units. One Syrvanian force, having circumvented the main fighting, finds itself within striking distance of Potinska, a large town straddling the Durna River- a potential crossing point into East Hetland and the Royal Capital.

Unbeknownst to the Syrvanians, Hettic forces have reformed in the vicinity; striking westward in a brazen counterattack to retake the L7 Highroad and isolate Syrvanian forces assaulting Skolgva. Both forces now meet in the hilly uplands of Potinska Fields…

THE MAP:

Located 6 kilometers northwest of the town of Potinska, this battle plays out in hilly terrain with bocage farm fields congesting the land between. A mix of close-quarters combat and long range fighting, this map has numerous AT, MG and Artillery (replace AA) positions to counter the significant armor presence on this map. Eagle starts off with better entrenched, yet fewer, starting positions, while Raven’s start are more spread out and contain more static weapon emplacements, allowing for quicker control of their side of the map.

Thick hedgerows provide plenty of cover, not only preventing movement and LOS through them, but preventing rounds from passing through as well. Be careful though, it’s still easy to ambush units from the foliage!

BEST PLAYED WITH 150-200 UNITS
