Sikorsky CH-54 Tarhe
Block count: 405
This is the CH-54 Tarhe or Skycrane. The six-bladed rotor features realistic swashplates, mechanisms and controls. You will be surprised at how huge this helicopter. Yet it is only 405 blocks.
It is able to comfortable carry 400 mass units in the sling hook. if I wanted to could increase it’s lifting power to at least 500 mass units but that would decrease it’s other flying capabilities.
The cargo unit has plenty of space but unfortunately isn’t able to handle heavy loads.
Mind you people. This is a single rotor helicopter. They are extremely hard to balance because of the inherent assymmetry. During forward flight it will tend to roll the right because of an aerodynamic phenomenon called dissymmetry of lift. During hover it will tend to slide to the left because of the translating tendency caused by the thrust of the tail rotor.
