Greetings to all, and welcome!

Echoes of the Past Battles is a modification that replaces the in-game background music and expands the existing soundtrack list by adding compositions from other games in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The modification exclusively alters the musical component, without changing any other settings or functionality within the gameplay.

With its expanded list of compositions, Echoes of the Past Battles brings a unique musical accompaniment, fully immersing players in the gameplay:

• Over 200 new tracks, with a total duration exceeding 10 hours;
• Replaces music in the main menu and for all in-game factions, including those from DLCs;
• Music for the “Observer” mode has also been replaced.

To ensure greater variety, Echoes of the Past Battles uses soundtracks from various games within the Warhammer 40,000 universe, such as:

• Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, incl. Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, Soulstorm. Composers – Jeremy Soule, Inon Zur;
• Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, incl. Chaos Rising, Retribution. Composer – Doyle W. Donehoo;
• Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus. Composer – Guillaume David;
• Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War, incl. 7 Factions DLCs. Composer – Dan Bewick.

It should be noted that the list of source games is retained based on player preferences; the original soundtrack from Gladius – Relics of War has also been retained at the players’ request.

Note: in situations where a conflict occurs between modifications or Echoes of the Past Battles is functioning improperly, navigate to: Main Menu ⟶ Extra ⟶ Mods, then use your cursor to drag Echoes of the Past Battles up to change load priority.
