Lokomotiva 140 neboli po staru E499.0 je první "moderní" lokomotivou z produkce Závodů Vladimira Iljiče Lenina (Škoda) a byla vyráběna mezi lety 1953 až 1958.
Jedná se o lokomotivu na stejnosměrný proud 3000V, nicméně dokáže jetz i na 1500V DC, ovšem za polovičního výkonu. Byly určeny pro osobní vlaky, rychlíky, expresy (odtud je nejprve vytlačily ES499.0 a později E499.2) a nákladní vlaky (kromě lehčích nákladů vytlačeno E469.1,2,3).
V balíčku je klasická 140, modrá 140 (počátek výroby, tedy i s velkou hvězdou) a zelená 140 (jako modrá, jen pozdější období výroby).
Na náhledovém obrázku jsou UIC-Y ČSD, které vyjdou co nejdříve.

Lokomotive 140 oder früher E499.0 ist die erste „moderne“ Lokomotive des Wladimir-Iljitsch-Lenin-Werks (Skoda) und wurde zwischen 1953 und 1958 hergestellt.
Es handelt sich um eine 3000-V-Gleichstromlokomotive, sie kann aber auch mit 1500 V Gleichstrom betrieben werden, allerdings mit halber Leistung. Sie waren für Personenzüge, Schnellzüge, Schnellzüge (von dort wurden sie zunächst durch ES499.0 und später durch E499.2 ersetzt) und Güterzüge (mit Ausnahme leichterer Ladungen, die durch E469.1,2,3 ersetzt wurden) vorgesehen.
Im Paket sind ein klassischer 140er, ein blauer 140er (Produktionsbeginn, also auch mit großem Stern) und ein grüner 140er (wie Blau, erst späterer Produktionszeitraum) enthalten.
