Desert Ocean [SP/COOP 1-8]
Desert Ocean is a SP/MP co-op mission designed for 1 to 8 players.
The mission’s storyline aims to be seamlessly integrated into the ‘Arma 3 universe’ and provides an immersive experience through compelling cutscenes and a thrilling story.
Furthermore, the mission includes a complete english voiceover and carefully placed music from the game, making it streamer friendly.
Mods are not required for this mission. However, I recommend using ‘ACE3’ and ‘TFAR‘ or ‘ACRE2‘.
(Please avoid using mods that alter the behavior of the AI)
For additional mods such as equipment, you can use an available Zeus slot. Using this slot, a virtual arsenal can be placed for customizing the equipment.
All subtitles, mission descriptions, and other texts are set to English by default but can be switched to German in the mission parameters before starting.
We are facing a critical situation in the Sahara region that demands our immediate attention and decisive action.
The operation, codenamed "Desert Ocean", aims to retrieve highly sensitive documents and stabilize the situation in the remote desert village of Tazzarine.
The village of Tazzarine has urgently requested assistance from the UNA due to violent attacks as well as extortion by the Tura tribe.
In response to the situation, the UNA has deployed an intervention team under the leadership of Lieutenant Jonathan Lasco to reestablish stability in the area.
Lieutenant Lasco, during his deployment in Tazzarine, obtained sensitive information from a villager regarding a high-ranking Tura member.
Unfortunately, contact with Lieutenant Lasco and the UNA intervention team was lost 48 hours ago, before it was discovered that Tura forces have seized control over the village.
Here’s where we come in.
The lost information is of utmost priority for NATO, as it may play a crucial role in weakening the structures of the Tura and restoring security in the region.
The resulting mission is clear.
Your team will attempt to recapture the village of Tazzarine while also retrieving the lost information.
The region is relying on our assistance.
