Description:

Adds new weapon: ADVENT Pistol.

• Same stats as Magnetic Pistol, with a token bonus of +5% Aim, so you have a reason to keep using them after you do acquire your own Magnetic Pistols.
• ADVENT Pistol drops from Tier 1 ADVENT Troopers and Officers with a 10% chance.
• Drops as Timed Loot by default, can be configured to drop directly into your inventory, similarly to corpses. This has the advantage of not being constrained to the number of Timed Loot drops per mission.
• Can be sold on Black Market.
• After you research Modular Weapons, but before Magnetic Weapons, you can perform Disassemble ADVENT Pistol research, which will cost 1 ADVENT Pistol, and halve the time required to research Magnetic Weapons, saving you about a week of research time.
• Visual weapon attachments are fully configured. In other words, the weapon’s model will change if you equip Weapon Upgrades on it, though you need additional mods in order to be able to equip Upgrades on Secondary Weapons.
• When you purchase the Beam Pistol squad upgrade, ADVENT Pistols with weapon upgrades will transform into Beam Pistols with the same weapon upgrades, so the weapon upgrades are not lost. ADVENT Pistols without weapon upgrades will remain, so you can still sell them on Black Market, so the sell value is not lost.

X2WOTCCommunityHighlander is required.

Should integrate into on-going campaigns just fine, but keep in mind the mod is the most relevant during the early game.

Supported by Primary Secondaries and Dual Wielded Pistols.

WotC Mod Everything Reloaded is recommended so you can equip Weapon Upgrades on pistols, although WotC: robojumper’s Squad Select can be configured to allow equipping Upgrades on Secondary Weapons on the Squad Loadout screen.
