Reworked USSR Army Conquest Icons
Soviet edition of my "Reworked Conquest Icons".
Squad cards now have diferent army insignia: Number and specific historical color badge.
For example infantry have raspberry colored patches with division number, cavalry have dark blue colored patches etc.
Division numbers is not random, they represent one of the most famous divisions of the red army during ww2 such as:
– 62nd Rifle Division: which is known for heroic defense during the Battle of Stalingrad.
– 24th Rifle Division: "Iron Division" famous for its participation in Moscow, Bagration and Berlin operations.
– 97th Rifle Division: "Vitebskaya" Involved in the countless buttles in europe and later on soviet invasion of manchuria.
– 150th Rifle Division: The division was heavily involved in the final assault on Berlin in 1945. Soldiers from this division famously raised the Soviet flag over the Reichstag.
etc.
– Marines now have "ЧФ" -black sea fleat and "БФ" baltic sea fleat marks on their cards.
"Comissars" replaced with normal army officers such as:
-Lieutenant
-Captain
-Colonel
-"Mountain Cavalry" units is renamed in to "Mountain Recon" bcs "Mountain Cavalry" is just pure fantasy army branch which is never exist in the red army.
-Guard motorised units 1944 now have CCKW trucks bcs of the land-lease.
